[Review] Bourjois Color Boost 04 Peach on the Beach

Hi everyone! My first review after my break is about this awesome lip product from Bourjois (a French brand). Got released this summer and I absolutely love this colour! The reason is so obvious, keep reading to find out!

Peach on the Beach is a name so suitable for this shade! It also claims to be waterproof with SPF 15 and more moisturizing than your average lipstick! The finish reminds me of Jelly lips-talk from Etude House.

I first swatched it while I was in Boots (UK drugstore) but it was closing time and I didn't have much time to decide which other shade I wanted :( It's a shame because the 3 for 2 promotion was on and I just picked up two eyeliners, one of them was supposed to be the dotted one but somebody put a normal one into the dotted one section!! So lame!!

I also ruined the shape of the tip ( a little ) because I was in a hurry to check if the one I picked was used. A few makeup products in the UK are not sealed! I think the only drugstore brand that actually sells sealed makeup here is Revlon and a couple of others! I have no idea why...

Very moisturizing, perfect for my lips. Glossy finish which I love! No need to top it up with lipgloss. It has medium staining power but that's totally fine by me. As for the waterproof claim, it is as waterproof as a glossy lip product can be! It still leaves lipstick stains on hand, glass etc. I tested with water and it didn't disappear completely, a thin later of it stayed on my lips. Very easy to apply due to the shape of the stick. I would say one of my favorite lip products ever!

There is a minor detail that made me go "say what??". I suspected it after seeing the swatch at the store but I wasn't totally sure! Peach on Beach is the Dear My lips-talk OR204 glossy dupe!

Maybe it's not so visible on the photo but it looks exactly the same in person except the finish of OR204 from Etude House is semi-matte finish. 

I really love Etude House lip product shades and I'm so happy to see them on non-Asian brands but I have mixed feelings about this because the Color boost Peach on the beach has better finish. I'm guessing there is a Jelly lips-talk version with glossy finish though! I wonder if any of you have that?
